National Catholic Reporter, Oct 22, 2004
J. Budziszewski, a professor of philosophy at the University of Texas, has been elected chairman of the board for the Institute on Religion and Democracy, an ecumenical organization founded in 1981 to work for the reform of America's mainline churches and for a responsible Christian public policy witness.
Budziszewski has joined several friend of the court briefs, including the recently decided Goodrige v. Massachusetts, which argued against the Massachusetts Supreme Court's recognition of same-sex marriage.
