A time for relaxation, rest and fun, this conference offers caregivers an opportunity to reflect on the spirituality of their own stories through reflection on stories from various religious traditions; to examine their story's container, their bodies; and to experience gentle ways of continuing and nurturing both the story and themselves. Presenter: Diana L. Hayes, teacher, lawyer, theologian, author will lead you to a rich understanding of womanist theology; and evolving theology from the life experiences of black women. Through input, exchange and directed readings, Diana will approach this liberation theology of women from a pastoral, spiritual stance. The unpretentious, rural setting of Rockhaven provides the ideal space to nurture body and spirit while absorbing the beauty and power of Womanist Theology.
