Paul DeBlassie III wrote Toxic Christianity: Healing the Religious Neurosis (Crossroad, 167 pages, $17.95 hardbound) for those who suffer the psychological state of ill health that finds growth and development thwarted by religious expectations, legalities and attitudes.

Organized religion is to further the maturing process of the individual soul. But healthy individuals must move from controlling people or situations unless toxicity be encouraged or incurred.

Healing rather than blaming is DeBlassie's agenda. Suffers and healers might find his reflections helpful.
