Hayes and his fellow plaintiffs, appearing at consecutive press conferences in Philadelphia and Camden June 10, seemed more worried about the loss of trust many Catholics are experiencing as more and more victims of sex abuse speak out. Hayes said he was "profoundly sad" to be suing his church. But added, "I am seeking justice in the courts because I received no justice in the church."
