Modular walkways - Product Roundup - Connect-A-Dock by Schafer Systems Inc - Brief Article
Parks & Recreation, Oct, 2001
One way avoid the muddy mess that wet weather and pedestrians create is to use Connect-A-Dock walkways from Schafer Systems. The walkways can be formed into a variety of shapes and lengths using durable polyethylene Connect-A-Dock sections. The modular sections can be attached easily to one another using the company's connectors and a 1/2" socket wrench. The walkways endure heavy foot traffic and can even withstand the weight of light-duty vehicles such as golf carts and ATV's. The sections have a slip-resistant simulated wood grain surface and are easily cleaned using only soap and water. Unlike concrete sidewalks, Connect-A-Dock walkways can be installed and removed as needed, preserving the natural beauty of the surrounding environment. Sections can be disconnected from each other and stacked to maximize storage space. Each section measures 30" long by 45" wide by 10" deep and is completely recyclable.
