> Inger L. Erickson has been appointed Special Operations Supervisor for the Phoenix Parks, Recreation and Library Department. Erickson has been with the department for more than 15 years, the last nine overseeing the city's award-winning aquatics program. In her new role, Erickson will supervise more than 100 full-and part-time staff and direct the various trades that handle department-wide maintenance records of 28 swimming pools, two softball complexes, the department's pollution-prevention and water-conservation programs as well as its forestry and horticulture programs.
