Adaptive swing
Parks & Recreation, April, 2004
GameTime's Adaptive Swing Seat was developed in a lab partnership with the Siskin Children's Institute, a Chattanooga foundation for children with special needs. Designed to be used by children of all abilities, the swing features a rigid molded seat, and is available with three mounting versions: galvanized chain, coated chain, and a pipe frame. The pipe frame allows for minimum seat movement during wheelchair transfer, and will more likely be used in a therapeutic setting, whereas the chain options will be more visible in park applications. The seat's design offers head, neck and back support, has an optional 5-point safety belt and is available in nine colors. It will comfortably sit a small child as well as an average-sized adult.
