Wheelchair-accessible tables

Parks & Recreation, April, 2004

Persons using wheelchairs can be kept right in the center of activities with these square wheelchair accessible tables from Pilot Rock Park Equipment. An opening is made by removing one seat for a wheelchair. The 48" square top is then extended on that side to provide the proper knee and toe clearances. The welded steel pipe frames can be hot dip galvanized, painted or powder coated. Top and seat materials can be lumber, vinyl-coated steel or recycled plastic. Pilot Rock rabies can help you comply with current ADA guidelines.
