Recognize citizens who make a difference - Citizen-Board Member Branch
Parks & Recreation, May, 2003
It's time to recognize those who mean so much to the recreation opportunities in your community. The NRPA Citizen-Board Member Branch will recognize these community leaders at the NRPA National Congress & Exposition in St. Louis, Mo., this October. Who will be acknowledged? Outstanding boards or commissions that improve their community, professionals whose excellence boosts a locale's recreational opportunities and those whose service to their state or nation supports the NRPA mission.
You can also nominate someone to win a Special Citation, the Ron McKenney Community Service and Robert M. Artz Citizen Volunteer awards. Watch the mail for your awards application brochure, get one online at www.nrpa.org or call the Citizen-Board Member office at 800-883-3002.
