A picture is worth thousand words
Parks & Recreation, May, 2005
Have a photo of greenways, trails and trail uses? Need any? By June, Parks & Trails New York hopes to create a free, online database of New York State trail images. These photos cover all seasons, age groups, types of trails, trail uses and solutions to common trail issues. Anyone in the New York area that has photos that fit the above description should e-mail them to ptny@ptny.org, preferably in a higher resolution JPEG or TIFF format.
By June, the database will be online end available for download. The non-profit group decided to create this database as a way to help trail advocates build support for trails in their communities by illustrating their points with photos.
