Prevent tree trimming deaths

Parks & Recreation, June, 2005

Recently, the California Department of Health Services (CDHS) released guidelines to prevent tree-trimming deaths, which it has identified as a common occupational fatality. As part of its education mission, CDHS has prepared a fact sheet for agencies nationwide to post wherever maintenance staff congregate.

The fact sheet can be downloaded at www.dhs.ca.gov/ohb/ohsep/face, or by calling (800) 735-2929.
