Adaptive Swing

Parks & Recreation, July, 2004

GameTime's Adaptive Swing Seat is a great example of playground equipment that should be a part of very playground. Originally designed for children with special needs, the seat has proven to be just as popular with children of all abilities. The swing features a rigid molded seat and is available with three mounting versions: galvanized chain, coated chain and a pipe frame. The chain options are generally more common in park applications. The pipe frame reduces lateral movement, making it easier for wheelchair transfer and caregiver assistance and is usually used in a truly therapeutic setting. Available in nine colors, the swing adapts easily to existing swing frames.
