NRPA members help build the future of recreation - Capital Campaign - National Recreation and Park Association - Brief Article
Parks & Recreation, August, 2002
Thank go to the hundreds of NRPA members who donated a total of nearly $50,000 to their association in the fiscal year that ended June 30. These members' generosity will help fund such needed projects as continued improvements to our library and support of many NRPA branches and programs, including youth-at-risk endeavors. A complete list of recent donors is available at www.nrpa.org.

Now it's your turn to contribute to NRPA's future. Gifts during the current capital campaign will help to improve our technology infrastructure, including a comprehensive database for use by all NRPA members that will contain listings for all recreational facilities, services, programs, natural open spaces and cultural arts throughout the country. NRPA will also use the contributions to build such interactive features as live online conferencing and national surveys.
