John Chambers accepts award

John Chambers, director of Adapted Recreation for the city of Las Vegas, Nev., accepts the Midwest Symposium Award for "Outstanding Contributions" to the Midwest Symposium on Therapeutic Recreation (TR) and Adapted Physical Activity from Gerald Hitzhusen. Chambers has presented, attended and supported the Midwest Symposium on TR and Adapted Physical Activity for many years.

He is also a former National Wheelchair Basketball Champion (6 times), and highly involved in the National Institute on Recreation Inclusion.
