Accords at Baby Bells

An additional 2,000 CWA-represented employees of us WEST Business Resources, Inc., agreed to a new 3-year agreement that calls for a $700 ratification bonus; wage increases of 4.4 percent in the first year of the contract and 3 percent in the second and third years, team bonuses of 4 percent in the first year, 5 percent in the second year, and 6 percent in both the third and fourth years.
The pact also increases pension benefits by 12 percent.
