Nominations for the 1996 Awards for Excellence in Corporate Community Service are now being accepted by the Points of Light Foundation, a nonprofit group in Washington, D.C. Businesses of all industries and sizes that are addressing a serious community need through a company-wide and company-supported employee volunteer program are eligible for nomination. Businesses are encouraged to nominate themselves, and organizations that benefit from employee volunteer programs can nominate the companies that support them.
