Vehicle leasing: plenty of options

With truck leasing and rentals increasing yearly, Larry Miller, president of Ruan Transportation Management Systems, a leasing firm in Des Moines, Iowa, sums it up: "Pride of ownership is a luxury. It's the old way of doing business."

In a recently issued statement, the Runzheimer company forecast that "as long as the prices of cars, trucks, and vans continue to rise, leasing will grow."

By 1995, some experts have said, one of every two vehicles made will be put to use by a car-rental company or by a business or an individual under a leasing arrangements.
