Amazing omega-3s

Your recent issue (July/August '08) featured an article on omega-3--fascinating.

In our small town, omega-3 is available in several stores, from Wal-Mart to Walgreens. And, as the article stated, it is somewhat difficult to determine which brand and/or dose is truly a bona fide and reliable source of omega-3. There are several available, but which ones can one depend on?

If possible and permissable, can you send me such a list so that I can make a wise choice for my wife, grandchildren, and myself?.

Editor's note: When buying fish oil supplements, look for a product with a high ratio of EPA to DHA that is fresh and palatable. Capsules tend to have less taste when refrigerated. Good choices include OmegaBrite, ProOmega, Trader Darwin's Hi Potency Omega-3 EPA, and Nature's Bounty EPA fish oil.
