Protect young visitors this holiday season by checking your home for the top five hidden hazards as named by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Magnets: Keep loose magnets and magnetic pieces away from children younger than six.
Recalled products: Sign up at cpsc.gov for free notification of recalls via e-mail.
Tip-overs: For added security, anchor furniture and televisions to the floor or attach to the wall. Freestanding ranges and stoves should be installed with anti-tip brackets.
Windows and coverings: Repair pull cords ending in loops and install window guards or stops today.
