Startling oversight
Sporting News, The, March 11, 2002 by Bill Braaksma
In regard to "Startling outcomes" (TSN, February 11), you could have included Michigan's 24-12 victory over Ohio State in 1969. That Ohio State team has been called the best college football team ever. The game was in Bo Schembechler's first season at Michigan and was the source of the Bo-Woody (Hayes) rivalry for the next several seasons. It was probably the greatest upset in college football in the second half of the 20th century.
