Inside running: Has a terrific combination of size, power and speed. Runs with good body lean and pad level. Doesn't always plant and drive quickly through cutback lanes.
Outside running: Shows elite top-end speed for his size. Shows a second gear in the open field. Lacks great initial burst. Makes few defenders miss.
Blocking: Is by far the best pass-blocking back in this class. Shows good instincts, toughness and sound technique. Isn't afraid to sacrifice his body.
Hands/routes: Has good experience in the passing game. Shows a great feel for running routes crisply and smoothly. Hands are reliable; adjusts well to poorly thrown balls.

Durability: Is a minor concern after a harassing injury caused him to miss two games as a junior. Came back healthy as a senior, showing fresh legs.
Bottom line: Brown would have been a full-time starter at any other school, but with Carnell Williams ahead of him on the depth chart, he had to settle for a backup role throughout his college career. That shouldn't be the case as a pro. With his size, speed, versatility and potential to become a top NFL starter, he should be a high first-round pick.--War Room Scouts
