Smith on Bogut

"Obviously, size is such a big issue, and he's a true 7-footer. You look around college, and so many big men are 6-8; they have a hard time adjusting to playing in the NBA. He'll be able to get bigger because he's only 20. He'll be able to develop his inside game, and there are the things he already has--the vision on the court, the ability to pass. Another thing that separates him is that a lot of big men, especially big men outside the U.S., have a tendency to be kind of soft. He's known to have a mean streak. He gets in there and bangs around."

Bogut on Smith

"I know that he's a great football player, man, and he's one of the smartest football players in college. That's the main reason. That's how I like to think I am, you know? I'm a smart player. I might not be as athletic as other guys, but I'm smart, and I think that's Alex Smith's case. He's not the most athletic quarterback out there, but he uses his head. Ninety percent of the game is mental. You see that all the time, guys making crucial errors in the game because they're not thinking. It's all mental, man."
