Richie Sexson hit six home runs for Milwaukee against the Cubs last season. Sexson's new team, the Diamondbacks, plays host to Chicago for three games beginning Monday.... The Mariners' slow start has caught everyone by surprise, and their pitching staff will be put to the test in a 10-game road trip that begins Friday.

Seattle will play three games against the Rangers, four against the revamped Orioles and three against the Tigers, who are fielding a major league offense this season.... The Phillies have dug themselves a familiar hole, but a six-game road trip could provide relief. They visit the Expos in Montreal, where there is no home-field advantage, and the Cardinals, who have played poorly at home.... Round 2 is in New York as the Red Sox and Yankees meet for a three-game weekend set.... Shannon Stewart faces the visiting Blue Jays for the first time since they dealt him to the Twins last July.
