Early in his rookie year, NT Vince Wilfork struggled to grasp the Patriots' two-gap principles because he had played in a penetrating scheme in college. But as Wilfork learned to set his body and take on blocks, he became much more of a factor against the run. He has good agility for a 330-pounder; in fact, he took some snaps at end last season. But his future is inside, where he should be an anchor for the Patriots' defense for years.
