Just call him Dr. Dirk

He can shoot, he can score, and apparently, he can dish out advice with the best of them. Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki has been fielding fans' questions on subjects ranging from sports to dating in "Dear Dirk" on NBA.com. A sampling of Nowitzki's sage advice over the course of the season:
Dear Dirk: Do you think men truly prefer natural, healthy looking women, or are they really into these uberskinny, anorexic types whose ribs poke through their skin?--Stephanie in Dallas
Dirk says: I don't like superskinny. A woman's body has to have some curves, and I believe everyone should take care of themselves by eating healthy and exercising. Superskinny is just an image, and it isn't a very good one.

Dear Dirk: Lately, I've found myself dating all the wrong men. The notion of finding someone who inspires me seems to be unattainable. Is it time to lower my standards when it comes to dating and relationships?--Jules in California
Dirk says: I wouldn't suggest lowering your standards. If you remain patient, you will find Mr. Right. You didn't mention where you are meeting these wrong guys, so maybe you should analyze where you are meeting them and compare the types of guys in those places vs. the type of guy you are looking for.
Dear Dick: My husband spends almost all of his free time playing video games. How do I get him to pay less attention to the video games and more attention to what I'm saying?--Ashley in Denton, Texas
Dirk says: Try turning the TV off, standing in front of it and making him look you in the eye.
