Pattern of improvement

49ers WR Brandon Lloyd is excited about what he's learning under new receivers coach Jerry Sullivan. An acrobatic playmaker, Lloyd is paying more attention to the details of his craft. That includes studying film to analyze different ways to get off the, line of scrimmage, run routes and block. Lloyd primarily was used on the outside at split end in his first two seasons but will be asked to line up as a slot receiver occasionally this season.
