A Jr. moment

Dale Earnhardt Jr., on having a variety of race winners

"When a guy like Kurt (Busch) or Jimmie (Johnson) comes along, I'm totally cool with it because all those guys really respect what they've earned. Kurt may not show it personally, but he's got a lot of respect for the sport. That's what matters to me. The guy who comes in and wins a race and doesn't have a clue who the hell Bobby Allison was, that pisses me off. I'm not saying that happens in the sport. When Jimmie Johnson does good, I'm like, 'Yeah, man,' because we need personalities up there. Because when it's just me and Jeff Gordon and a few other guys, then it gets stale and stagnant."
