The Broncos' most intense competition in the months leading up to training camp will be at wide receiver. Rod Smith and Ashley Lelie appear to have the top two spots locked up. After that, it's wide open. Based on his stellar 2004 training camp and flashes of excellence during the season, has the edge, but he must improve his technique and concentration. The Broncos won't tolerate dropped passes this season. Also in the running are Triandos Luke, Charlie Adams and Nate Jackson. Luke has the best chance to make the squad. He has good speed and hands, but he needs to get off the fine of scrimmage better.
