Is Tiger Woods still the best?

Sporting News, The, May 24, 2004

Tim Brando 3-7 p.m. ET weekdays

Yes, but his swing is way off right now by his standards. Tiger has other issues in his life. If anything, his game is suffering because he is creating balance in his life. Tiger is still Tiger, but golf is a game that even the best rent and never completely own!

Jeff Rickard noon-3 p.m. ET weekdays

Other players would like to believe Woods is no longer the No. 1 player in the world, but we--and they--know better. He's in the midst of a swing change and still is one of the top players on the money list. I bet the other guys can't wait for that swing change to kick in.

Kevin Wheeler 2-6 a.m. ET weekdays

Absolutely. Even when Tiger is "slumping," he's at or near the top of the money list despite playing in fewer events than others at the top of the list. Challengers come and go, but Tiger remains the standard by which all other players are judged.

Whatever is hot and happening in the world of sports, it's sure to be on the agenda when you're on the air with Sporting News Radio.
