M@il bonding: Chris Bahr answers you questions

Sporting News, The,  May 27, 2005  by Chris Bahr

I was offered Miguel Cabrera for Justin Morneau. After checking the Fantasy Source's Player Analyzer and doing some research of my own, accepting this trade seems like a no-brainer. Cabrera helped me win last year's championship, but I can't help but feel Morneau has the same potential.

David Nelson, Fort Collins, Colo.

David: This choice is a lot tougher than most people think. Although both players are young and improving, Cabrera is a more proven commodity than Morneau. Still, their early-season stats are quite similar, even though Morneau has spent some time on the disabled list. In this case, the decision could come down to whether you need an outfielder more than a corner infielder. Each slugger could hit 30 homers, top 100 RBIs and hit close to .300. I might be in the minority, but I like Morneau over Cabrera.
