Topic: RSS FeedTo know list: 7 ways to spend your time that beat the heck out of two-a-days
Sporting News, The, July 28, 2003
Henson has $12 million and three years left on the original $17 million deal he signed with the Yankees.
If Henson had stayed with football, he would have been a top five pick in the 2002 draft. Henson (6-5, 220) has ideal size, arm strength and athleticism, but he is very raw. It probably would take at least two years for him to make the adjustment physically and mentally, but he could develop into a fine NFL starter. The Texans, meanwhile, who already have David Carr, could get a Day 1 pick in 2004 from a team interested in rediscovering Henson's football talent.--Mike Kilduff

The matchup The question
The Royals vs. Reality Who's going to tell them they're
no good?
Edge-ucation If ifs and buts were candies and nuts, the Royals would
blow up like a Baldwin brother. Somehow K.C. keeps winning, even with
Mike Sweeney on the shelf, half of its staff broken, the other half on
Lima Time, etc. Carlos Beltran is living large and the team larger
still, which means owner David Glass can't trade Beltran. Forget the
Twinkies. The Royals are delish.
Tiger vs. His driver He can protect a lead, but can
he get one?
Edge-ucation If you ever could relate to Tiger, it's now. He
muni-hacked his first shot in the British Open into the
tall grass. What, they've got no range to warm up on?
Then, with a win in his sights,
it was Choke City, or at the very least Unabletoanswerthebell
Village. Is this a trend? Woods has never won a major coming from
behind on the final day.
Charles Rogers vs. Barry Sanders Can C-Rog restore the roar?
Edge-ucation Catching the real Barry was hard enough. Chasing his
shadow will be dang near impossible. Tough kanoobies. The Edge has
no reservations about setting huge expectations. With the Motor
City Kitties, even huge expectations are modest. Only one game
matters. The Edge will go over the edge if the Thanksgiving game
is done before the spinach dip.
