Johnson followed the Moneyball mantra of power and patience, hitting .400 (10-for 25) with four home runs, five walks, six RBIs and nine runs. The rookie hit safely in all seven games and homered in each of the last four, helping the surging A's go 6-1. Johnson began this week with a .330 average and 10 homers in 191 at-bats and a .974 on-base/slugging percentage.
