Stat projections

Sporting News, The,  August 26, 2005  by Rob Hurtt

QB Aaron Brooks, Saints

Passing: 3,693 yards, 23 TDs, 13 INTs. Rushing:. 163 yards, 2 TDs. New Orleans' simplified offense should help Brooks cut down on his turnovers. Owners worried about his past inconsistency will allow him to drop into the middle rounds.

RB Steven Jackson, Rams

Rushing: 1,144 yards, Rams. Receiving: 310 yards, 1 TD. Jackson has looked strong this summer, and he could make this projection look conservative if Mike Martz keeps giving him the ball. When Marshall Faulk is gone, Jackson will be a No. 1 back for fantasy owners.

WR Antonio Bryant, Browns

Receiving:. 52 catches, 728 yards, 3 TDs.

Bryant has the best chance to become Trent Dilfer's favorite target in Cleveland, but the Browns won't move the ball well enough to give Bryant many scoring chances.
