North Carolina lost at home, 20-17, to Virginia last Saturday on a 50-yard field by Todd Braverman with 27.4 seconds left. The Tar Heels travel to Indiana, a team picked by many to be a surprise, Saturday before playing host to Florida State September 25 and travelling to Clemson and Georgia Tech.
The Tar Heels got off to an 0-3 start last year in Torbush's first season, but he railed them to an 8-5 finish that featured a Las Vegas Bowl victory against San Diego State. A similar start looks to be in store this season, but another fast finish may be unlikely, given the tough schedule and inconsistent quarterback play.
