QB D.J. Shockley, Georgia

Sporting News, The,  Sept 16, 2005

The best things come to those who wait--especially if you're a career backup quarterback at Georgia. In his first start after four years of watching David Greene lead the UGA offense, Shockley tied a school record with five TD passes in a 48-13 thrashing of Boise State. He also proved to be a threat with his feet, rushing for 85 yards and one touchdown.
