Mike Morse became the third Mariner to be suspended for violating Major League Baseball's new steroids policy. Morse claims that the punishment is egregious because he's being severely reprimanded for an action that took place back in 2003. Actually, his exact words were: "Dude, that's like back when Moyer was 40."

Backup QB practices his hand signals

Broncos backup quarterback Bradlee Van Pelt made a scene when he went to watch his alma mater, Colorado State, play rival Colorado. Van Pelt reportedly became engaged in over-the-top heckling, wore a T-shirt with an obscene word on it and flashed improper gestures at fans. Embarrassed, the Broncos issued an official statement, apologizing for Van Pelt making a "Raider out of himself."
