The sophomore tailback was the UCLA offense in the Bruins' 37-31 victory at Washington. After UCLA trailed 24-7 in the first quarter, Drew ran for three touchdowns (62-, 58- and 15-yarders), giving the Bruins a 27-24 lead at halftime. The powerful 5-8 back ended the day with a UCLA-record five rushing TDs. His 322 rushing yards also was a school record.
