DeAngelo Hall is slowly becoming one of the better corners in the league. Missing part of last year really hurt him in terms of development, but he certainly looks confident. I'm waiting for him to really turn up the interceptions.... Having both Plaxico Burress and Jeremy Shockey should make the Giants a good red zone team.

They know how to use their bodies to get in position and shield defenders.... Channing Crowder has a ways to go as a linebacker, but he's got a lot of promise simply because of his athletic ability. If he stays healthy and keeps his nose clean, then the Dolphins will have a steal.... I thought Reggie Brown might win the starting job opposite Terrell Owens just because of how consistent he looked in the preseason. He ran crisp routes and caught the ball well. I think it's just a matter of time before he ascends up the Eagles' depth chart.... We've glamorized the cornerback position to where we say it's OK for a guy to miss tackles because he's a cover corner. To me, that's hogwash. Everybody has to tackle.
