Sporting News, The, Sept 30, 2005 by Tom Gatto
Big Papi added to his A.L. MVP credentials with a pair of game-winning home runs against the Blue Jays. For the week, Ortiz had four homers, nine RBIs and a .364 average (8-for-22) in seven games. Boston's offense leads the majors in runs thanks to the production of Ortiz (43 homers at the start of the week) and Manny Ramirez in the middle of the order.--Tom Gatto
