An NFL college scouting director evaluates the six wideouts drafted in the first round last April:

Braylon Edwards, Browns, No, 3 overall. "He has the size, speed and playmaking ability. He might not put up huge numbers this year, but I feel like he's a really good player."

Tray Williamson, Vikings, No. 7. "Has a tremendous amount of upside. It may take him a year or two, but at some point he's going to be very, very dangerous."

Mike Williams, Lions, No. 10. "I don't know if you're getting that dynamic of a weapon. He offers a big target, but he's more of a possession-type receiver. He's not a real fast guy."

Matt Jones, Jaguars, No. 21. "A work in progress. He's got rare physical skills, but he has to learn the fundamentals because he's never played the position"

Mark Clayton, Ravens, No. 22. "Everything I see from him tells me he's going to be a superstar. He's quick, competitive and tough to tackle. He's lightning in a bottle."

Roddy White, Falcons, No. 27. "I'm not sure how sophisticated their passing attack is. If he were on another team, say St. Louis. I'd have a lot more confidence in his ability to make big plays."--D.D.

Williamson might not be ready to make Vikings fans forget Moss, but give him a year or two.
