QB David Greene, Georgia

Sporting News, The,  Oct 11, 2004

Payback sure felt good to Greene. A year after he completed just 20 of 44 attempts in a loss to LSU, Greene shredded the vaunted Tigers defense with five touchdown passes in a 45-16 rout of the defending co-national champs. Greene's touchdown passes, which all came in the game's first three quarters, set a Georgia I single-game record.
