Matchup heaven & hell
Sporting News, The, Oct 18, 2004 by Robb Hurtt
Favorable and unfavorable matchups for the sixth week of the season:
HEAVEN
Lions QB Joey Harrington vs. Packers. Harrington has thrown eight TDs in his last three home games. Green Bay is coming off a Monday night game, and its defense has struggled even when it has had a full week to prepare.
Eagles RB Brian Westbrook vs. Panthers.
Westbrook hasn't scored a touchdown so far. Look for him to break through against Carolina, which allowed seven touchdowns to running backs in its first four games.
Jets WR Santana Moss vs. 49ers. The Niners will have trouble matching Moss' quickness, and Chad Pennington has the accuracy to hit Moss whenever he gets separation from defensive backs.

HELL
Raiders QB Kerry Collins vs. Broncos. With newcomers Champ Bailey and John Lynch in the secondary, Denver hasn't allowed a 200-yard passer this season.
Bears RB Thomas Jones vs. Redskins. With Rex Grossman out, Jones' numbers will tumble as defenses focus on him.
Rams WR Isaac Bruce vs. Buccaneers. Bruce has been a pleasant surprise for owners. It would be another surprise if he had a strong game against Tampa Bay.--Rob Hurtt
