Your turn

* I am growing tired of all of the talk about the Expos leaving Montreal (TSN, October 11). Obviously, Montreal is not a great baseball town if only 8,000 "fans" show up to a game, and it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that they are finally leaving. Montreal doesn't deserve the Expos.

* All Matt Hayes does is belittle Tennessee and hype Georgia. I guess he hasn't noticed that Georgia has looked good in only one game this year. Tennessee shut down the great Davids, Greene and Pollack.

* I have been a loyal follower of NASCAR for many years, and I am so disappointed in the Chase for the Championship. This is the dumbest move NASCAR could have made. I now watch football on Sundays.
Nancy L. Lee, Belmond, Iowa
* Paul Attner's ideas on who should be the Giants' quarterback (TSN, October 4) are a disgusting display of defeatism. Attner says the Giants should start Eli Manning to groom him for the future. He says that starting Kurt Warner "impedes the future of the franchise." Well, the Giants don't agree. They are in it to win now. Warner is the starting quarterback because he is better and knows how to win games. Thank goodness Tom Coughlin, not Attner, is making the coaching decisions in New York.
James Jones, Beeville, Texas
* As a disgruntled Cubs fan, the only things I have to look forward to are the much-needed offseason moves. Ken Rosenthal could not be more correct in saying the Cubs should attempt to trade Sammy Sosa (TSN, October 11). Although Sosa's contributions to the city of Chicago have been great, his best days are behind him. He clearly was a big reason why the Cubs failed down the stretch. The right thing to do is to show Sosa, and the $17 million he is owed next season, the Windy City door.
