Q Will any six-win teams without a postseason game?
A There likely will be 55 to 57 teams with six wins. There are 46 bowl slots, which means nine to 11 bowl-eligible teams will miss out. None would be more disappointed than Louisiana Tech, which could finish 9-2. But the Bulldogs have no conference, so no bowl is guaranteed. They have played a tough schedule, with losses to Florida State and Texas A&M. If they win out, they will have beaten USC and Alabama. But that might not be enough to secure one of the few at-large berths available.
