Marquis Elmore made an oral commitment to Georgia this past summer, but the Bulldogs still have some work ahead of them. Despite his pledge, Elmore says he still plans to visit Florida State before signing a binding letter of intent in February. Alabama is in the running as well.... Counting Pat Massey, Pierre Woods and Simon Fraser, Ohio is loaded with elite talent at the defensive end position. On the surface, that appears fortunate for Ohio State, which needs young pass rushers in the worst way. But with Massey already having pledged to attend Michigan and Woods also leaning toward the Wolverines, the Buckeyes could end up with only Fraser out of the trio.... Anchorage's Tui Alailefaleula is the sleeper of the group--or at least he was until he attended a NIKE training camp held in Eugene, Ore., last summer. At the camp, Alailefaleula posted a 4.8-second time in the 40-yard dash and dominated line drills.
