If the NFL campaign is swayed by SPORTING NEWS endorsements, get ready for a Patriots-Eagles Super Bowl. All but one member of TSN's panel of experts projects that matchup, and the lone dissenter is halfway on board. There is, however, only a narrow majority for the projected winner.

Dan Pompei Senior writer

Patriots over Eagles. The Patriots have done nothing to suggest they won't win another Super Bowl. In fact, they are better than they were a year ago.

NFC championship: Eagles over Vikings

Paul Attner Senior writer

Eagles over Patriots. The Philadelphia offense finally has the balance and the mature quarterback--and Terrell Owens--to neutralize the intricacies of New England's defense.

Chris Bahr Associate editor

Patriots over Eagles. New England has the total package and the Super Bowl experience. They're not always pretty or dominant, but the Patriots know how to win.

Brian Baldinger FOX Sports, Sporting News Radio

Patriots over Eagles. This matchup is so compelling, you'd set it up on PlayStation 2. Andy Reid's offense versus Bill Belichick's defense will be a treat.

Dennis Dillon Senior writer

Patriots over Eagles. Look for New England to have at least one more regular-season clunker, but Bill Belichick will hoist the Vince Lombardi Trophy in Jacksonville.

Vinnie Iyer Projects editor

Eagles over Jaguars. Donovan McNabb and Terrell Owens have taken the Eagles' West Coast offense to another level, and their blitzing defense is hitting on all cylinders.

Carl Moritz Assistant managing editor

Eagles over Patriots. Forget the 43-year drought and three straight flameouts in the NFC championship game. The Red Sox rocked history; so can the Eagles.

Arnie Spanier Sporting News Radio

Eagles over Patriots. Philly is much better offensively than the Patriots, and the New England defense isn't as good as everyone thinks.

War Room scouts

Patriots over Eagles. The Patriots will win it all because of better room coaching and, thanks to the running of Corey Dillon, a more balanced offense.
