Bolstering the defense
Sporting News, The, Nov 8, 2004
A number of contending teams hope to play better defense down the stretch in part because key starters who were injured for good chunks of the first half are expected to return to their lineups.
Last Sunday, cornerback DeAngelo Hall, the Falcons' No. 1 draft pick, made his debut as a starter after missing most of the first half of the season with a hip injury, and outside linebacker Chad Brown returned to the field for the Seahawks after sitting out the first six games with a broken leg.

The Seahawks also hope to have end Grant Wistrom playing soon, and the Broncos are looking forward to the return of end Trevor Pryce. Both players can be difference-makers.
