Bob Hille's starting 5
Sporting News, The, Nov 11, 2005
1 The White Sox. For not having won a title since 1917, the celebration was relatively sedate. In fact, unless I'm mistaken, the only thing torched was Brad Lidge.
2 Brian Cashman. He agreed to a new three-year deal with the Yankees; that's 21 in people years.
3 USA Basketball. I'll say this about Mike Krzyzewski: He's as good a businessman as he is a coach. Part of his Olympics contract? Team USA will be called "the American Express."
4 Fisher DeBerry. In the past 12 months, Air Force's football coach has been in hot water for his comments about race and religion. Are you surprised? His offense is from the 1960s, too.
5 The Predators. I can't catch a break. Nashville starts the season with eight straight wins right after I write a sad song about not being able to score with the man advantage.
