How I got hooked on Motown: My mom used to always play those old records when I was growing up. Smokey Robinson ... Marvin Gaye ... and just that whole sound permeated through the house and kind of rubbed off on me. Back then, I think music really had a message. It was a peaceful time.
Standout artist when I was growing up: Smokey Robinson. His music really kept things at ease. I can always remember my morn on that old, old, old record player ... that thing looked like a huge toy chest. Things just seemed to be well in the house when (Smokey) was playing.
If I were stuck on a desert island and could have only one Motown CD: I guess it'd have to be something from the Temptations, just because they were so cool. The Temptations were the original sound of Motown.

Pregame listening: I get into the more inspirational gospel and then some of the old-school hip-hop. My Motown days are more about relaxing. Just kind of riding around on a nice day, 75 degrees outside, with the windows down and just turn it all the way up.
Colts' worst singing voice: You know, I was singing one day before a game, and they told me I sounded absolutely horrible. And I don't believe that. I'm coming with my A-game next time. I wasn't singing for them to hear; they were listening too hard.
Motown performer I'd love to sing a duet with: If I could get my voice that high, Smokey Robinson. Smokey didn't just have the look, he had the voice to match it. So he just drove the women crazy. If I could sing, I'd sing like Smokey.
