Nowhere To Run

Sporting News, The, Nov 22, 1999

This season, the Dolphins and Jaguars have allowed one rushing touchdown--the only blemish being a Jonathan Linton score against Miami last Sunday. Being stout against rushing TDs bodes well for Miami and Jacksonville. In the last five AFC title games, the '96 Patriots are the only AFC finalist to allow more than 11 regular-season rushing touchdowns.

Ironically, except for tire Jets last season, thee AFC finalist that surrendered the higher number of rushing TDs during the regular season advanced to the Super Bowl.
